My name is Anoux Massey.
I am a recovering Heroin (and other) addict. I have been clean for 10 years now and I am still learning and battling. I have found my life's passion and I found it in rescuing and rehabilitating animals. I registered and started my own animal rescue organistion 5 years ago. PETS - Pet Empowerment in TownShips. www.pets.org.za Through animals I have managed to manage my addiction and to give back.
I have built up alot of experience and I am always willing to try and help where I can. I have also written and published 2 books.

Life can be wonderful can't it??? I too work/worked with animals...28+ years worth. They are amazing creatures....so forgiving... Keep up the good work..
Merry Christmas Dingus!!! Maybe make THIS New Years resolution the one time you really follow thru.....You know how to get there...you just have to stay there.....Keep trying...one day it will all make sense.

I can assure you ,(and I know you know,I am not your old one).... I am not a drug dealer..never was...... LMFAO.......The name came about because I am a grandma with 3 grandkids,,,granny to three....The granddaughter I just got custody of calls me granny sometimes....
Hopefully one of these days you will find the right rhyme and reason to want to stop for good, but only when and if you are ready....If not,at least be careful OK?? I'm sure there are folks out there who love and care about you...I know we all do here on the board...
