We moved from Illinois to Coppell, TX last summer. Since moving here, our 13 (now 14) year-old daughter has been drawn into the world of drugs. She is now in a Drug Rehabilitation Center in Corpus Christi, TX.
We are asking for assistance to help our daughter fight drug addiction. We have created a website to tell her story and get support.
Please take a moment to look at the site we created to help our daughter, Cassandra (Cassie).

Mark and Stephanie, it is clear that you love your daughter very much and want the best for her. I feel certain that there are some family counseling sessions in connection with the rehab she is attending. You might also consider attending some al anon or nar anon meetings to get a better idea of how to deal with issues of havng a child who is an addict. We addicts are fond of saying that addiction is a family disease.
Good luck, let us know how you are doing.

good luck to cassie, just keep loving her and she will make it through - i was heavily into drugs as a child 14-18 when my dad deserted our family, just disappeared and left us without any money - i thought he left becuase of me - my mom was so out of it, she wasnt there for me as much as i needed, but i always knew she loved me. i was h ll to deal with, but she stuck by me i love the person i became. without that in my life, i wouldnt be who i am today, so i forgive and go on i hope someday very soon you will see a light at the end of this dark dark tunnel. we all pray for you.
there is something missing in her life to go to drugs, i think. but i surely am no expert. best of lcuk - she has her whole beautiful life ahead of her and she sure is a beautiful girl.

I am so sorry about Cassie, but I think you may be confused on what kind of support we offer here.Addicts and family of addicts often do not have the funds for private run programs like Betty Ford and Hazelden, but there are many programs you can qaulify for, even without insurance. As much effort as you have put into Cassies website,I'm sure you will find a program.
