Hi CB, thank you, it feels good to have that 17 mths sober!
i ended up with a Toshiba laptop, got all i need on here and cost 629 cnd,
same thing in oz 1500 bucks!
i have loaded a map,street thing on my comp,so i can find myway around now!

Ginge....17 months is AWESOME my friend! Congratulations and thank you for all your posts. It really does help even if we don't know eachother. Hope you are having fun in the states. I don't know much about laptops but sounds like you have a good one. I have my hubby's old laptop. It's pretty cool. It has one of those pens and when you write on the screen it will translate it into typed words. It's cool...though I never use that feature since I can type much faster than I can write. TTFN...have many more fun adventures on your travels.

Way to go on 17 months! You rock!!!

Hey Ginge we went out the next day as was pissin down that night. House was still warm and we had a great weekend. The new deck is coming along fine. And we will probably be there next weekend as well as J just loves the idea of no ph contact. I had to laugh about your emailLOL here i am pratting on about getting your email and it's right in front of me. I'll get J to run me through the email thing and then i'll send you some.

Ginge, congratulations on passing the driving test...are they flying you over to Ohio and then you drive back or vice versa? Glad things are working out well for you...can you believe your life has completely changed from what it was just a little over 17 months ago? I know sobriety has provided me with a new found freedom and a life that is manageable which enables me to go out and enjoy life without drinking and drugging...I never thought I could have a good time without drinking, but when I was drinking the good times ended a long time before I stopped drinking and now I can have more fun than when I was out there! I think this is happening for you too!
