well its been 2 months since i have had a drink. didnt really even realize but its been 2 months. so i'm happy. i never thought drinking was my issue, till i stopped getting high. i have several years free of drugs, but never thought i would stop drinking.

I dont drink anymore, I dont have an answer for why I gave it up ( I have a beer now and then at yankee stadium_- but drinking to get drunk?- not in many yrs- I dont know why or how this happened- - but it did- -
Anyway , this is good because I know with me- everytime I drank and felt the effects- - it would send me out searching for my drug of choice
Now -no booze, no crazy thinking about searching out drug of choice-

I hear ya, Jack...alcohol triggered damned near everything for me. I had to stop drinking when I couldn't smoke in bars anymore ;-)

The unemployment bennys run out in 3 weeks-
Ive been on more interviews in the past month than I could count- - which is good, because for a yr and a half- - I couldnt even get in the door. I have to go out of my field though- -re-invent myself. The production/manufacturing in this country is dead- - -we send every thing overseas(more or less)
