Hello my ARG friends. I just wanted to share with you all since you've been a large part of my recovery that today marks 4 months! What a wonderful way to celebrate by celebrating my Nana's life at her funeral. It was such a beautiful, peaceful, joyful service. We laughed, we cried a bit, and we focused on her wonderful life. It was definitely the most peaceful funeral I went to. I am certain she is in a place where she can play with Grandpa without physical ailments. Honestly...it was a wonderful way to celebrate my 4 months and what a gift to give her...she has always been one of my great supporters in finding a path free from alcohol. She would be proud.
Thank you all for being part of my recovery, offering your love and support in times of need, and just being here when I've needed you most. I appreciate each of you.
Sincerely and with love and joy,
Lisa

Congratulations zipper. I hope you're enjoying every minute of your new life. It sounds like your grandmother was much loved and I think it's great that you feel she'd be pleased for you now. I know we do it for ourselves, but there's no denying that those who love us are so happy if we're we're well and happy, and that's a wonderful thing for anyone who is sober to know.
A sweet remembrance--that's a good thing. And congrats on 4 months. Only one more day....
Keep up the good work Zip! I know it has been extra stressful on you with all of the drama so I for one am very proud of you for hanging in there! 4 months is freakin' awesome!!!! ;-)

Congratulations on four months of continued sobriety Zipper!!! I'm happy you have found sobriety. That you are living life on life's terms. Though it isn't always easy, you do it with grace. I see you embracing life with a sound mind and a sincere heart. Thank you, for showing me that it can be done. Your fighting spirit to live and to reach beyond life's ups and downs, have given me courage. You are ray of sunshine, shining and sharing your light with others. It isn't hard to see why your Nana loved and believed in you, and still does.
I wanted to say you and your sister are absolutely gorgeous woman. The bond of sisterhood that you share with each other is forever being strengthened by your obvious love and friendship. Being twins just makes it even sweeter.
Continue enjoying your feline friends another creation and gift from God. They offer us unconditional love and support sometimes better than are human ones do. Being a sober human makes it easier to appreciate the circle of life and all it's creations. Thank You, for being a part of my recovery, a blessing to others.
Love,
Chris xxx :-)
