Good Morning All.
Today is my 40th day sober.
The help of AA and medication and more than anything, my belief and trust in God has gotten me this far.
Anyone know what happened to Jayde? Haven't seen her around here in quite a while.

congratulations Trimmer! well done. You should feel proud of yourself. that is quite an accomplishment. I am sober now for 18 days. To me 40 seems a long way off but I am hoping to get there. I do a lot of reading (anything that is inspirational) so I have a quote for you that I hope will help.Go confidently in the direction of your dream. Live the life you have imagined" and I want you to know you are an inspiration to me for been able to do it for 40 days. CONGRATS. GOD BLESS AND BE SAFE

If you flick back through the post by about a year and i/2 i think some of Jaydes last posts are there abouts and you will be able to read what was happening for her. Every now and then a shout out goes to her but as of yet no answer and she wont be forgotten as she is the first name i see on the i will not drink today thread:)

40 days is so Grand! So much better then no days sober. I'm glad that you have a God of your understanding thats the main part of how I stay sober myself. It is so wonderful that there are other people who have gone before us and are so willing to give it back to us. When I finally realized I only had to do this one day sometimes one hr. one min yep even one second it can be done. We have just 24 hrs. in a day.
I'm so happy you have chosen sobriety instead of the absolute hopelessness and destruction drunkeness and drugs bring to ourselves and our loved ones. I'm glad your here and I hope you keep coming back and sharing your ESH thats experience, strength and hope.
I don't know Jayde she hasn't been posting here for about a yr. I do hope wherever she is that she is safe and healthy.
