60 Days Today

Hey Everyone,
I have 60 days today!!! Feels pretty good to be getting some consistent clean time under my belt. Have some health issues to deal with as well. So actually, I think it helps me not to drink.

Have a great day.

PM- YOU ARE THE BOMB BABY! Congratulations, how fast that went. You have really done something amazing. 60 days is a good feeling and just think pretty soon it will be 90. Good job friend.
Jane
Thanks Jane!
I could not have done it by myself. That's for sure. But I'm thankful for the support I have found. It feels good to be off the alcohol for sure. It came at the right time. I just didn't think I had a problem since I didn't drink all the time. But binge drinking is just as bad when you blackout! So done with it I pray.

love,

Thanks Jayde,
I hope things improve as well. Time will tell the story. For now it's just one minute at a time.

Congratulations, PM! Hopefully in 54 days I will be where you are now! It really is inspiring to see how many strong people there are here. Here's to 60 more days, and 60 more after that, and so on. Please keep us posted on how things go!
Congrats on 60 days. Keep it up, it will get better. I am approaching 90 and I haven't been sober that long in 10 years. It feels good. Isn't it great remembering what you did the day before?

Dear PM!! Good on Ya girl!! I was a binge drinker as well, I could go days without drinking, then come the weekend and all hell broke loose!! when I was a teenager it was even worse. Then as I got older, and more problems came up, I drank at least every other day, feeling hungover kinda felt normal if you know what I mean, yikes it was scarey now I see things so differently, very proud of you! quitting drinking as got to be one of the hardest things I have ever done... and I just take it day by day...

god bless ya

Congrats on 60 days PM...so proud of you and what good news!
Hey Thanks All You Guys and Gals,
Zac we all only have one moment at a time so hang in there. I thought those black outs were pretty normal too. Well they were for me!!! lol

Anyway, no matter what's going on we don't have to look back and do it the way we did before. Thank God for that!!!

I just got home from a fun no drinking party. We all had a blast and it's great to hang out with people who aren't ohhhh soooooo tempting!!!! We chased dogs, played music and ate like banchies.

enjoy the weekend!!!!!!

So proud....so proud!!
Good stuff PM,
When I first went out sober, I felt uncomfortable, but now, just one of the boys, but can drive home!
Take care Ginge
Congratulations Amy!
Thanks Again Guys and Gals,

You know Ginge I remember when I was first trying to stop drinking I talked to ya for awhile but guess I just wasn't ready to give up that one last drink cuz it took me a bit longer. I'm glad you can drive now!!!! I'm really happy for you.

I was at a meeting tonite and a woman asked what to do with her life now she is sober. She noted she did not have anything to look forward to. I thought about that. She had lost alot. But out of my mouth came there is nowhere to go because we are nowhere (now-here). That at least for me I made a conscious choice to live with awareness and to allow life to do whatever life is and be in the moment. And I also realized that we learn it all different when we are truly sober. We are aware and we don't know what's on the other side of the door and actually that is truly a beautiful thing. Because our days are all blessed.

I'd pick that for my life anyday! My life maybe cut short and it's really all okay by me as long as I have nowhere and can live in awareness.

Thanks everyone.
