I hope you are all having a great day. I was watching Oprah for a few minutes the other day and saw a book called "A Million Pieces". I think that is what the name of it was lololol. Has anyone read it? I think it is regarding addiction and getting your life back together? Have a great weekend. Take care, Best Wishes

Hey I posted about that the other day too. You can actually read several pages on the oprah website if you want to see how it is. I am going to pick that for my choice next book club. Noone knows I am an addict so the conversation afterward ought to be interesting. I can see them all saying things like he was a junkie and blah blah never knowing this suburban housewife is one too.

Thank you so much, you are so kind. I hope you are also having a GREAT WEEKEND!!! I have "watched" you over the year or so, you are so sweet. It sounds like we are in a similiar situation. Health problems and on Suboxene. My Dr. tells me it does not help with pain, and I have alot of pain on days. What do you think? Has your Dr. said different? Take care, and thanks again. Best Wishes

Bwishes,Yes my Dr has told me it should(and it does)help with my pain.I have Chrons & I feel alot better.I was eating 20 some pills just to walk around still doubled over & now unless Im having a real bad attack it seems to keep the cramping & pain at bay.

EVERYONE should read million pieces. It's a page turner..best book i've read in years. It's good for addicts and those who love them cause it really takes you into their mind and the struggle and torture they go through fighting addiction. Lot's of great characters (real people) in the book that you fall in love with. Then when you're done...go get part 2 "My Friend Leonard" it's in the autobiography section...also spectacular.

Hey,

I just had to buy this book after watching Oprah. I already have a good book going and one in the car - audio book - these are really good so I will finish before I start "A million Little Pieces"
I read back of book and it does sound riveting.
