Hi just getting onto this site - I have managed to get away from the alcohol only to get myself stuck with another addiction - tabs - hope I can give any of you some tips on your way back from alchol
What kind of tabs is your new addiction? I just got out of rehab for alcoholism. Let me know. Trying to find something to keep me from drinking like a fish.....like before.
From many others experiences I have learned that tabs often will lead back to alcohol or the tabs themselves became as big a problem as the booze was.First year of sobriety is nerve wracking but it does get better the longer you are sober.
Here's how new I am to this. What are TABS?? Back in the 80's, it tabs were LSD. Can someone shed some light??

Sorry i missed your post but tabs = tablets - and i am sorry i cannot answer that question for you because they are highly addictive and you would only be going into another battle of addiction Try going to AA and talking to others on the alcohol site that will be of more help to you.

Have you ever tried going to AA? I have found it very helpful. I tried doing it on my own , I stayed sober for 4 yrs like that but I wasnt happy and I started drinking again then i picked up a pill addiction along the way. So my drinking by the way side . I thought I no longer had a problem with alcohol but I just traded one for another. I know now I am an alcoholic and an addict. I had 2 yrs clean and sober. Then I relapsed ? WHy ? Well still thought I could do it my way. I attended AA but I would only do the things I wanted to do. I didnt follow any suggestions . I am grateful for my relapse and ThankGod I made it back. Now I attend AA again. I follow suggestions and I use my sponsor. Not just say I have one. And it really works.I now have 6 monthes clean and sober. I love my life today. Things in my life arent the greatest . I have money problems and all but I am getting better. ITs all good. And every day I stay clean and sober it gets better. Anyway hope your doing ok and I hope everyone is. My email is at the bottom feel free to write if ya want, also if ya want click on the www i have started a recovery group with a few friends if you would like to join.
