Hi All,
Hopefully someone can help me with this. I have been sober for almost 9 months. My husband however has continued to drink which I am pretty much okay with because I never quit when he wanted me to. I never quit until I was ready. When we were both drinking together I always wanted him to get messed up because that meant that I got to get equally if not more messed up. I know that this is co-dependent but now that he is the only drinker I think I still might be co-dependent. I think first of all I need to know exactly what co-dependent means. I don't really understand. I find that I still want him to drink just so I don't have to deal with his emotional crap that comes with not drinking. Is there anyone who can help shed some light on this for me?

Hi,
My wife has that book, great book. Umm, if I read hers instead of getting my own copy, does that make me a codependent reader too? lol *wink*
Take care......
