"any One Having Trouble Detoxing Off Roxycodone"

I was addicted to roxycodone, for 3 years, I first tried it from a friend that offered it to me, I then liked the pill and before I knew it, it took over my life. I then went to a M.D he prescribed me Buprenex injectables, it worked for a while I was off the pain pill for a few months. Then i was at work one day and someone offered me the pill, so i took it, knowing I knew i had the Buprenex injectables so I knew I wouldn't get sick. So that was a waste for me because I kept going to the detox MD getting Buprenex, and taking the roxycodone at the same time cause I knew I wasn't gonna get sick, but that was very dangerous playing with both meds, so I quit taking the Buprenex, and was back on the roxycodone for a long time, about a year. So my mother found very upscale rehab centre in Montreal,Canada. So I went there for 30 Days, i was very sick the first couple days there but after it was nice, I learned alot from the rehab centre, how to cope with life without drugs. I was home a month or so and my Identical twin sold his house and he made alot of money off it. So he ended up moving in with me and we partied with the money he made off the house, and we spent alot of mony on pain pills, and going to MD Doctors. So one day I decided That I wanted to get clean so I was at the bottom, lost my house, mostly everything, My twin and I went to the MD doctor the last time and we got pills, we gave them to my mother she weaned us off the pill by giving us one pill 3x a day for a week, then 2 pills a day for a week, then 1 pill for 3 days and now iv'e been successfully clean for 6 days now. My family is very proud, especially my mother. also I did this for myself because I want my normal life back. I own my own business and negelected for 3 months.
CONGRATS and Welcome!!

Welcome to the board and congrats on your decision to get your life back. I was taking oxycotin 150-170mg per day. I have now been clean for 33 days with the help of suboxone. I like life better this way, and I think you will too.
Hello it will be hard at first, because it is a learned habit. But with patience and guidance of god you will get through this horrible ordeal. I am living proof I have been drug fee now of this for 2 years and have finally been able to live my life. Just rememeber to live one day at a time and I promise you will get through it. Just work hard and keep your mind focused on your priorties in life. With all this behind you your life will have a meaning.GOOD LUCK Gianna

By the way the colonidine i used about a week until the sweats were gone your friend gianna
hey Great hope you make it, I was a prescription addict and finally am a success story after many tries but it can be done. One thing you have to remember is live from day to day and it will happen, I promise and make sure that you stay clear of your twin brother until he decides he wants help. You need to make a commitment to yourself that is what is important. This is YOUR life no one elses. BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR O YOUR WAY SUPERMAN! GOOD LUCK IT CAN BE DONE Your friend,Shawndra
You have one week clean now - congratulations!

As others have said, take it one day at a time. Don't ever forget the misery of addiction - it can be a great motivator to staying clean.

Keep posting;

68 shelby hi Hope all is going well! I know it is a hard road. How are you? And your twin? You are very lucky to have a mom, to care my mom and dad put me out literally in the streets of new york, homeless. Believe me it was hard everyone is your friend when you are doing drugs but try and get a place to stay and someone feed you! yes ! right! Oh well that is life. But now after i have got my life FINALLY together my family is welcoming me back. The insanity was just to much for them. And you know what is the very saddest part my dad died before he seen me clean. I am from a good italian family. But, i am sure he is looking down on me now. I only wish it was"nt after he was dead, I hope you find your happy medium in life you really sound like a real winner for some nice girl. Good Luck. Gianna
