The aha moment was about the X and let's just say April showers always brought more than May flowers. April was never a good month for him. You made me see the connection, he usually spent the Winter in rehabs, and then Spring brought on that mindset of things being new, fresh...and the cycle would start over.

Right? Some swear it's the change in season, Cynical......changes that brain chemistry.......well you know that.........BUT weather wise right now it's like winter so who the heck knows.
Yeah, years back one time I was clean for probably like seven or eight months.
Easter morning.........out of nowhere......I say I'm sick and can't go to the usual family Easter outting to the shore.........right out and copped......I remember thinking well it's all about REBIRTH........and da*n it's April.......and I am going to get high just one more time to prove I'm rebirthed.
Long run after that of course.......hibernation=rehab......then spring gets sprung.

..Just throwing my 2 cents in..i was saying to Tina the other day how easter time sucks..i dunno why ?..tis just the mundane hoilday i suppose..unlike any other holiday weekend its just always the same for me..good friday to easter monday seems like 4 sundays rolled into one ?..and i also get sick of the sight of chocolate when its over lol ..Robbie..
My old counslor at the methadone clinic say's she hates fall/winter they get mad rushes of new patients. She said by spring/summer they start getting down to fewer. Weird I started methadone clinic in May "05" it took 15-20mins to dose "line". By November the same year it was 45 mins to a hour. I've always liked April easter lilly's start coming up everything starts getting ready for spring fishing season starts.

I think I recall learning that April is the month of the most suicides......I can imagine why.......ya get through winter........and then here comes REBIRTH...and that stupid "Day light savings".......and everyone seems just dandy except yourself.......yeah I can see that.
Saw something on line tying Hitler's birthday to this month as well.......personally I ain't buying that cause it's Shirley Temple's birthday too.....I mean Shirley she's all good things in one....the ol' TRIPLE THREAT...she made the world smile that kid.........so I ain't big on believing that one..........but yeah it's weird........I blame them dang trees with all them flowers coming out........makes me wacky.
