I was reading your response to Cowgirl on the other thread and I just wanted to say that I remember what you were going through this summer. I remember you trying your best to hold that marriage together...and him just walking out on you.
I really had so much empathy for you...and I still do. I applaud your staying clean...working hard. You are going to be fine Angela. I know he hurt you, and I know you had your own pain to deal with without adding a break up to the deal.
I just wanted you to know that I am always here if you want to chat about it...I will listen! You will need to develop a program for your recovery, a plan of action...and that can be exciting for you too! This time in your life will be reflected on someday with real gratitude. I know it is hard...but you are doing it!!!! And when you get some time under your belt...you are gonna look back and be able to say you don't owe any man (or anyone) a damn thing for all this hard work you are doing!
You are gonna be (probably already are!) one baddass woman!!! Strong, independent, smart, funny, clean and sober, and able to set an incredible example for so many young women!

I hope it's okay if I pop in on this post. Angela, I agree with everything Sarah said. You are strong and have offered many people here, myself included, lots of comfort and encouragement. Keep your head up and be proud of yourself. I am proud of you!
