How many people find using a syringe as addictive as the drug it's used to administer?
I believe 100% that the syringe used to administer the drug is even more powerful than the drug itself. Just seeing it can make your mouth water. Having it in your hand can make your heart pound. After I got clean I would've put just about anything in that syringe and try to slam it... side note: not even the slightest bit of a good idea. Unfortunately for me, I work in the medical field and have the unfortunate opportunity to be faced with it every day.
The one thing about us IV drug users is that we are at a disadvantage... especially those that are unwilling to experiment... our bodies try to "help us out" and create a little nusance that is: scar tissue. Very difficult for even the most seasoned professional to get a needle through. It's actually been my saving grace a time or two but also my scarlet letter every time I need to get blood work done.
