My boyfriend and i used painkillers together for about 8 months.He has been abusing fthem on and off for a few years.I have only been for 8 months.We are both a week clean on suboxone but while we get clean we had to move out of our apt.We both moved back to our parents'.His mother said if she helped him it was on her terms only.Her terms are us not speaking or seeing eachother for 2 months.That seems like a lifetime to me.We were inseparatable for 2 years never spent a night apart so for me kicking the painkiller seems like a piece of cake. I know it's harder for him and i only want whats best for him but this is really hard. I want to know how he is doing and i can't call him. Does anyone know of any couples who recovered and had a happy ending?
