You are not alone. I felt that there musn't be any other nurses out there. My first day I met my sponsor. She was a nurse I had worked with, and my first NA meeting there was another nurse I knew well. I have met others in the program and a few drs. I have known. Addiction knows no boundries, we are just as vunerable as anyone else.

Depending where you are, they might have meeting available for those in the medical field. Most are closed so there are only drs and nurses that attend them. Tim might know....

People in the medical field have a tremendous amount of temptation with meds so available. Sorry for your problem, but at least you know what the solutions are, too. (((((Hugs and prayers)))))))
Man, it's really so great to have so many people "know" - or to hear these responses and to relate completely. I didn't think that was going to happen. I don't know why. I am just so freaked out - I mean, this is going to change my life. That's scary enough. And I think finding something online is allowing me to be honest with myself by telling others. So thank you - thank you, and I just hope I can give back.
