Please, please, try to find a better way, any way, i don't think u r thinkin this thru & the idea of thinkin of someone crashing on speed & going thru withdraweles, i don't know u, but i really am frightened for you. Please , get some help, & find another way to get off oxys, even if it means not gettin off em so kwik. I dont know how old u are, but if ur near the point where the effects of speed, agewise, are more dangerous then usual to ur health, thats bad, & if u havent reached that age , then psycholically its worse. I'm afraid for you, i am not criticizng u, or judging u, or lookin down at u, or anything like that, hell i'm 52 & i cant say that idea hasnt crossed my mind from time to time, but please, and i dont know how i could say this any stronger, i'm begging u & i don't know u, do something different & get some help real quick.

I can't add anything to that. I agree 100% dog. I saw this post earlier and didn't quite know how to respond. I wanted too, but I don't like responding just to do so. I can't sleep for some reason, so I decided to read a bit. Your thoughts on this subject are right and I also suggest any other way but this one. Oxy's are a mother.... I been there, saying it's hell doesn't come close to the reality of it. But I'd say switching to meth.. is a remedy for disaster if not death. Please get help in finding another way.

Speed is more devilish than anyting I have ever done. Please dont do it. I have been clean off that mess for 10 years and am still paying the price.

I would take a look at the meth message board before proceeding, that addiction can be very very bad as well. And the what it does to your body. I would say DO NOT TRY IT!!!
well i went to a funeral in july because of this mixture. going on speed to "fix" anything is extremely counterproductive. check the meth board out, hopefully you won't do anything of the sort.
Over the last 3 years, whenever I would try to get off pain pills, I would take Sudafed, which has pseudoephidrine in it and produces that "speedy" feeling. It helped take the edge off of withdrawals, helped with the fatigue, etc....
But it also raised my blood pressure, caused headaches, and made the insomnia worse.....so I wouldn't take it very long. And that's just sudafed, not crystal meth.... Taking speed every day is probably worse on your body than taking the pain pills in the first place. You are going from a horrible addiction to an even worse one.
Oxy's and other opiates are hell, but at least you know what's in them..... You know what's in each pill you take, you know how many mg are in each dose. When you start getting street drugs, they could put ANYTHING in there....
So many young healthy people are dying of heart attacks due to meth.... I had a friend who one year ago parked her car on the highest bridge in New Orleans and jumped off.... She was the prettiest girl you've ever seen and addicted to crystal. She had been partying for years but had just started doing crystal about a year before this.... she was hooked REALLY fast and felt the only way out was to kill herself.
There are so many drugs that are legally used for withdrawal..... too many to not find another way to get off of oxys before resorting to speed.
