Thats funny trideltmom....every Thanksgiving they play it on the local radio stations.....it is a big thing here in the Philly area......Thanksgiving doesn't open the Christmas season, Alice's Restaurant does....lol

yea thin lizzy "The boys are back in town" man you guys are bringing up way to many memories. i think it was misty who said foghat, and molly hatchet, well how about blue oyster cult, rush, emerson lake and palmer, not to mention crosby stills nash and young. there are so many great that i know we forgot to mention, one not as old bob seager,black oak arkansas, and many many more

Misty......funny story........Around 1978 I worked at Avis at Atlanta Airport. A couple of guys from Lynard Skinnard stumbled up to the counter totally slammed out of their minds demanding to rent a car. Had to call the police and have them arrested after they physically destroyed the counter because I couldn't rent to them in their condition.
Also, had to call the police on Grace Slick for the same thing.

Met many of the old groups while working at airport for several years, and most were very nice.

Misty, speaking of the Almost Cut my Hair, when I was a freshman in college, I had really long, curly hair. I mean, it was down to the middle of my back. Well, I was in an AV presentation for Eng Lit 101, and they start playing the song..what do I see? A picture of myself on the screen during the beginning of that song..I wanted to crawl out of the place...
