Oh the news people and the papers where I come from are all abuzz with the warning to stop your heroin purchases.....as usual somebody holds up a fat rack or bundle of blue bags with names stamped on them....they warn of danger and people ODing.
So then you hear it's laced with Fentanyl......my first thought was what bad dope.....that's an addicts dream come true......and I real quick said a prayer of thanks when i heard it,.......that I'm still not out there.......because either I'd have gotten some, and OD'd which would of course leave me so called alive, but drooling, and being pushed in a wheelchair.....or perhaps almost as bad on a different level......looking for that same exact dope.....someone OD's what do we do......they have toe tag, and we scramble to get what they got.....and it's all part of that awful nightmare of a heroin addict......so it's all bad dope, and no matter what's mixed or cut or added to the heroin it's just bad.

Good call Bryn, I would have thought the same thing fentynyl, Alright!! So glad we're not out there anymore. It is all bad dope. I remember someone giving me a stamped bad full of chai tea, I knew it wasn't dope, but i thought to myself "well, maybe there's a little dope in there, if I'm lucky there will be enough for me to get "well". Only ended up going into convulsions. Ahh friday nights. these and saturdays are the absolute worst, hate sitting home on party days, can't wait to get over this feeling.

Another girl last night found dead one block from the corner that is supposedly selling death. Delaware getting hit too, 3 deaths there that I heard of. WTF. I know in Camden they were saying just pure but this poor girl who od'ed had fentanyl in her system as well. How sad it all is. And the stories from the users that have spoken, one watched her friend od and die and yet still went out and got herself some....
Oh god I am praying big time that no one else dies. It is just to sad.....

.and a friend of mine fromthe program came into the diner tonight......came from a funeral.....friend of hers........same s***, cut with fentanyl......shame it is.
Yea, I've seen that on the news here in philly. It's crazy cause people are still copin wanting that better high. Guess when you get dope that sucks you want the "good stuff" even though it might cost you your life.

Bryn, forgive my utter cluelessness, but what is Fentanyl? Here in DumDum Town we very rarely, but sometimes, get warnings on the news about there being a "lethal batch" of Heroin in town--sick & sad thing is, all the addicts I know scream @ the tv: " Smack that's really strong?Where is it?!!" Crazy people,whoa...
I knew someone who got Fentanyl patches and suckers "a real Fentanyl sucker" like candy. You can get a sucker if you can't swallow pills. I use to eat the gel in a 3 days patch ALL AT ONCE. You could not FEEL after that. I never heard of heroin cut with Fentanyl I could see how that would cause a overdose thou. Glad that's all over. So happy to not be sick anymore.
I got this H in a wax bag with a black stamp skull and crossbones "no words". Man that dope was BAD yeah it's all bad but, this one I almost went to the hospital. It looked okay mixed rght but, it made you feel like death. So glad I stoped a few weeks after that hot batch was in. You never know what your getting that sounds so SCARY to me now: then I had the i'll take my chances mind set going on.
When stories about this bad dope hit the news-at 1st there were 3 people reported dead. The other nite, when they showed the blue bag on the air, it (death count), was up to 24.
Apparently, those first stories, with the brand names listed, and almost giving out directions where to buy the stuff, those first warnings turned-out to be a freekin' ADVERTISEMENT for the stuff.
It was even reported that an addict that had two years clean-time DIED from the crap, 'cause the reports lead him to go search for "one last perfect high"-(I guess he found it).
By the time they actually showed the blue bag with red-ink on tv, it didn't matter to me because I had already seen it in my head every time I heard the story.
Those creepy names are a weird bad trigger for me too, and I guess there is a point to warning junkies about killer drugs, but I think they go to far descibing it.
They (tv) also showed someone sticking a needle in their arm, but they did not report on if all the ods & deaths were the result of shooting it or snorting it.
