Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.

First off let me say that I feel privileged to know the both of you. When I came here I had no idea that I would meet such nice people like you. You both are the appitimy of recovery and you help so many people here. I'm one of them. Gina,,,,I just love your humor. So many times I've been here at night and feeling bad only to get one of your humorous emails and it brings a smile to my face. You seem to have perfect timing. Bob,,,,, Sometimes I'm reading the board and feeling bad and I see you post something about your recovery and I think,,,yeah, thats what recovery is all about.
I just want to thank the both of you for being,,,well I guess for just being you. Thats enough. Just being you is more than enough. Honest, sincere, and just good caring people. That works for me.

This part reminded me of my oldest son.He had his heart broken by his ex wife and for the past 3 years hes just been a mess.He continued to love her as her life moved on and she got married had a baby and he just sat back and hurt through it all,worked 80 hours a week and had no life.He just recently met a girl and they are really getting along.Im so happy for him,he seems like his old self.Thanks for your post it was very beautiful to read.~KIM

It is hard to tell at times on a message board, as in real life who is sincere and who isn't. Some people fool you. Or they have me, many times. We live and learn. Then move on. The quote about meeting not to good people make us appreciate the good ones in our life. So true..
