Hello yesterday I was driving thru a town called "Roaring Springs" in PA it was quite warm there, I had a sweat up from watching my truck be loaded!
As I was coming thru this quaint little town a sign caught my eye,
""BEER 60 CENTS"" It was quite amazing what this small sign done to me,
I could litterally taste the cold beer and feel the fizziness of it in my mouth, The feeling was like "Oh man thats good"
In a split second I could imagine myself drinking those 60 cent beers,
I now know what my mate Zac means by Addiction is cunning ,
Just thought I would share that with you freinds,
Needless to say I opened a can of Soda and kept on driving!!
Bonjour Ginge {montreal today}
~LOL~
Just how much beer can you GET for 60 cents?
One would be too many, and 24 not enough!! Good save, Ginge--thanks for posting.

As we all know addiction is patiently waiting for a weak moment or a good one and given five seconds to play in our minds addiction is dangerous, good work Ginge and keep posting as this builds the gratitude for being sober and that is one thing that addiction does not like
light and love zac

Wow, Ginge, 60 cents a beer, unbelievable....I've had that same experience (romanticizing the drink), but once I think it all the way through well it just doesn't seem as appealing. Good job, good to see your post!
Good job in identifying the trigger, the craving and resisting temptation.
yes, addiction is cunning isn't it? I have those moments too where having a beer seems to be the most normal, harmless thing in the world to do.....
thanks for the post ginge,
