I think this site is gonna be the thing that's stops me going wackadoodle! I have a lot of well-meaning friends who have no idea what they are talking about and their advice is limited to "oh just walk away". Aint easy when you love someone!

Believer, This site has helped me so much it's a great thing to turn to at 3am. Herman: I'm loving your signature I to am a beliver in self no meeting or higher power got me off H "methadone helped thou lol". Also i'm a "system of a down" fan that song Lonely Day so reminds me of getting off H the 1st few months.Such a lonely day

hi z.g. love ,system' . slow fast slow fast....love it...can't beat 'em 4 lyrics. they're out there.i aint been on here 4 a while but enjoy comin back. #### live s.o.a.d. r'nt as good. ain't tight. definitly a studio band which considering their politics ' i thought ' was ironic. nice 2 say hello again............................................................................................................... hi bryn , nice 2 hear from urself. ur 1 of the " timers ". i'm doing good again. stable on my subs and enjoying life again. wots u mean with '' came thru '' ??? hey believer , it's the same when people say --' just say no' --l.o.l. or when the councilor says '' when u get the urge ....take a shower instead.. some of them just aint got a clue.but with time , help , and effort you'll sort it

Yeah I'm not a believer in god either. But I have faith in those I love and in my own ability to stand by him. I guess time will tell! I also have this (maybe) crazy faith that all will turn out fine and that my kids will not be affected by any of this.

i've got a friend with 3 kids. she was addicted for 7-8 years. went 2 nick 4 supplying 4 about 3 years.the kids saw things no kiid should see. now she's out and clean,and stayed clean since ( which is 4 years ago) and the kids have now apprenticeships and college and don't do drugs.so yes....ur kids can come thru unscathed

Believer, Herman is right.........look at people never did a drug........some of their kids turn up way out there.......then how Herman said..........it can be O.K.
Personally mine hates my living guts..........nothing I can do about it.

Yeah I guess your'e right. I'm keeping my kids out of it as much as possible at the mo but they are pretty smart kids. They've also been brought up to be open-minded and accepting of people. I think they'll come out of this just fine, maybe better people. And better able to make choices.
