hi all, just a little background before i begin. I have a daughter of 2 1/2 years with this woman. I have been clean for over 18 months but she was on maintanance meth of 100ml. The doctors dont know what they are up 2 so i've been giving her the dose daily, gradually bringing it down. She takes it in a black bottle so she can't see what she is taking, she just takes it, gets on with things and i tell her how she is doing every 10ml or so. All is so cool you wouldn't belive it's just that now we are on small amounts it is noticeable. Anyone got any ideas of anything that tastes the same without any of the codine or whatever is in meth, just to bulk it out. So she always has 20ml even if only 5ml is actually meth, yeah? I've asked the local chemist who is very cool but all he could get was the base concentrate which is blue! Anyone out there know of anything that i can water the meth down with? Any help please?
Gadoraide(any flavor) or flavored water should do.
Are you doing this without her knowing? shouldnt you speak to her and tell her what you have done i mean obviously she doesnt need that amount if she has been manageing on 5ml but i think you shoul be honest to her getting her down to 5ml from 100ml wow that is good just be honest as if she finds out there will be hell to pay. If not what about night nurse medicine well it depends are you in uk or usa night nurse is a flu med we have here in uk and that i think is green like meth good luck but if i were you i would be honest with her take care sue
alright frankie .so u could mix it down with gatorade [flavours of your choice]or from teena orange stuff called tang comes in crytals orrr...me own suggestion some watered down night nurse.best of luck with the reduction. davey
sue spot on with the night nurse.easy 2 mix in also teke in the late evening coz it will get u drowsy.as they say have a good night have a good night nurse.also mentaly theres a big diff. between 5ml &0ml.take it eze all .davey
Davey i think they stopped putting the stuff in the night nurse that makes you drowsy as when i was haveing bad nights i drunk bottles of it but not a thing happened i think people were buying it for that effect i sure tryed but i suppose when you want sleep you will try anything wont you take care all but be carful as if your partner does not know that you are watering down her meth she might relapse as she might feel the rattle i hope not and i hope she comes clean take care one and all suexx

Cheers for the replys. As for her not knowing, we both know what is going on. She trusts me not to make her ill but i reduce her as i see fit, I just tell her the milestones of every ten mill or so. So like she knew she was on 100ml cuz that was when she self medicated, she got down to 50ml on her own but couldn't move from there. I then said i would just give her a bottle every morning, she would take it without looking at it and just get on with her day. She trusts me to not make her ill, i've been there. The next week i told her when she was down to 40, then 30 now 20. That is what she is on at the moment, 20ml. Everything is going really well its just that when it gets to 5ml and below or whatever, she just wants to think she is taking the same amount until i tell her she hasn't been taking it for a while. Sound strange? maybe but it has been working for a while now so we'll keep at it. I think i will try night nurse, i should of thought of that!
First let me say davey sorry my post was a bit confusing i know it was not you i just got a bit mixed up 3 nights no sleep and all that but to Frankie i am glad you are telling her it must prove that it is more mental than physical if she can take a less amount and think that it is the same . I dont know i have never been given a script before the doctors must think that i am a joke or something and excuse me when i say this it is not aimed at you but some people can walk into a doctors and blag anything off them i could have my arms and legs falling off and they wont even prescribe asprin it really pi$$es me off i must just be soft so here i am again doing my rattle with nothing but thats life eh and i honestly didnt mean about you or you girlfriend/wife but doesnt it annoy you sometimes when people who dont need it get everything i am a wife a mum of 3 i work always try and do the right thing apart from this hiccup that i have and i get fu$k all whats that all about i dont know i wonder if i just go at the wrong times like they say about driving examiners they have to have a certain amount of passes and fails i am the one who gets the fail anyway like i said please dont think i mean you it is just something that has been on my mind all day take care be strong love suexx

Now I give you kudos for your ingenius idea there......the mind part.....even when I would take pills, and say I broke one in half during the day, and at night then only had one and a half.........man, that made me nuts......so I like the idea you have there........I would absolutely trust a recovering addict as oppossed to one never knew a dang thing about it.......so she's in good hands.

The creepy guy is about but he stays out of the way most of the time, He has a 7 year jail term coming up soon and last time he started his stupid stuff i had a little game of golf with his leg (fore! ha ha) and he was plastered up for a while so he has been quiet!. As for my daughter, oh my god she is so smart and bright and all the other things dad's say about there kid's, but i'm sure mine is special. She blows me away.
I'm finished at college now and completed my course fine and i am now doing some work in the field that i trained in (IT networking, repairs etc) and all has gone very well for a change. The guy i work for is thinking of taking me on permanently AND opening another shop, it all looks very promising. My daughters mother is also doing well. And yes i know about doctors giving stuff out to some and not others. Her doc is a twat, he gave her 100ml of meth a day, 5x 10ml valium and 2 sleepers a night. Plus loads of codine for a bad back! Hi Brynn Night Nurse is a medicine in the uk that you take for cold and flu but it is green and looks like meth it used to have something in it that made you sleep but i think they took it out as all us junkies would buy it to try and take away the sleeplessness take care love sue
also with the night nurse rip offs will mix 2 bulk up any meth that might be gettin sold on.have a quick sniff coz it smells pretty minty .comin off meth is a lot harder physically than gear i.e stays in system longer&i dont know about side effects but have heard all sorts??.am on 70ml myself 4 the last 5yr&to be honest ive no intention of coming off .feel like a real coward sometimes but am just afraid if i reduce itl be back on the gear 4 me.i get a bit of a high from the meth because from mon 2 fri its usually 50ml per day then at the wknd its 110/120 for a couple of days who am i fooling? thanks all c u davey

Hi all. just thought i'd let you know about how things are going. She is down to 9ml at the moment and no i haven't bothered with the night nurse. I will probably try it when we are on like 6 or 7ml or so. I'm making the 9ml look like 10ml just by washing the measuring cup out with a tiny bit of water. All is going well and cheers for the night nurse tip, i'd never thought of it, i had a total blank. As soon as you said it i though " that'll do nicely", i just couldn't belive i hadn't thought of it before! Thats all for now so cheers again.

Find some strong flavor. And start mixing it in now. (Make sure to check with the chemist or pharm. to make sure it won't interact).
The flavor of opiate that makes me think I got some is a bitter-twangy type thing by the way.
But, I guess it could be anything---the point is change the flavor now, by adding a flavoring agent--maybe vannila extract? That has alcohol sometimes, you really need to check on this. maybe mint? Peppermint?(-an herb, still have to check with experts) Jello-mix?
By the time you get lower &...

Frankie,i would still go with the night nurse same colour,simliar taste&same thickness and it does mix constantly with meth.,ive tried it.allthe best ..davey
Great idea, Frankie. I wish I had someone to do that for me. I've been on 100 mgs. for around 3 years now. I admit it! I'm a chicken. I'm afraid If I don't have that crutch, I won't be able to maintain. Sounds like it's working out good for your girl. Best of luck!
