Oh yes you are too blowing smoke. I am truly the lowest of the low. I was such a crappy mother at first. I'd never even babysat. Didn't know how to bathe them, dress them, man I was awful. Took about a year. Thought it be instant, but it wasn't. And they wouldn't eat anything! But I get kind of, well not upset, but anyone who thinks I took them as an altruistic act is wrong. I wanted them sooooo much. I was never able to have my own. Had been married and trying for 6 years. Just before the phone call I'd found out I never would. So you see, I'm the lucky one. And God in His wisdom knew we'd need each other. Praise God and all His goodness. I'm the lucky one Bob. And if I could have lined up all the babies in the world (Kaela I've used thisline a million times) I'd have picked them.

That one made me cry here with the rain. Being blessed with a child is great but picking a child is so special Bob B. I had a little girl at the ball field i was talkin with and she said she was the chosen one. And God blessed u 2 times over.

Yes, Tina...he certainly did. They were so pretty and good. And I've told them...isn't fair the whole family knows but them. And that is how I told them. That I was the luckiest mom in the world, and that their birth mother loved them so much she did the hardest thing. She could never have done it if she didn't love them so much. They see her when she's in town, and the best part is all the cousins, grandma, aunts and uncles didn't change. They didn't want to believe it at first, but understand now. Thnks for understanding. and i will pray for you. probably never said this here, but my chosen Higher Power is Mary, mother of Jesus. my belief is that he gave her to us as our spiritual mother when he spoke from the cross to John, the disciple that he especially cared for, "Woman, behold your son" and to John, "Behold your mother." not my mother, but your mother.
i'll pray with her tonite for your intentions, beck, and include you in my rosary. i think she's always praying for us from heaven, and i just don't mind asking her for help and intercession. she always comes through.
Thanks Bob! Yes, she too was chosen, visited by the angel Gabriel (?)and bore the Son of God. How can she not be holy. Lutherans don't recognize her at all. It always bothered me. I think in the early years of Christianity, (after Christ's death) women were kind of given crumbs if you will. But Christ uplifted women. My own opinion. Thank you for interceding on my behalf. i know what you mean. she's just sorta "dormant" there right now. that's all. but to me, she's the queen of all saints. i mean, His birth mother ! now, she's due some sort of honor for that.
i won't keep you, but i am always struck by her words at the wedding feast at Canna when they ran out of wine -- right from the beginning, she told them -- "Do whatever he tells you." now just like a mother, she was taking care of things for us and giving us instructions about how to respond to Him right from the start. and if ever we think he doesn't listen to her, at that same wedding before he changed water into wine, he said to her when she told them they were out of wine, "woman, what business is this of mine ?" then, he went and did what she asked him to do, even though he thought it wasn't his time to reveal himself and his powers.

and i think there are few things more inspirational than a male, tough guy, macho type who has a devotion to mary and calls upon her to help him.
