I don't want to take over Red's thread so here's a story of height insanity. I go to the Big Book Seminar every year down here in Boca and it is at an Embassy Suites. In order to get to your room they have a glass elevator which looks very pretty from the ground hehe The first year all I could do was stare at it. My sponsor (who can be a b***ch to me but I love her) told me to walk thru my fear and get on the damn elevator so I did. My stomach was flippy floppin the higher we got. When we finally got to the floor there's a walkway around the perimeter (I'm sure it has a name but I don't know what) and a biga$$ hole where you can see the first floor. So I am creeping around the walls yelling to everyone to stay away from the edges. They were convinced I had lost it. Each year we go back it gets a little better but that first ride up it is hell for me. At least I can laugh at it today. The whole hotel gets to know me as the lady afraid of the elevator cuz I stand and face the buttons and WILL NOT look back.
I won't even discuss bridges LOL That's a whole nother story.
Anybody else afraid of heights, or snakes, or anything they wanna talk about?
I hear you 12. Heights is just about my biggest fear and I fear little. I remember riding in a glass elevator. Terrifying. I'll never ride another one! Also what ski lifts do to me. I have to really control the panic if I want to ski.

Hey Swizzle
They've been in anytime from May to July. You know how alcoholics are. Joe and Charlie used to do them but they retired this year. I'm not sure who is taking over but they will go on. Usually from 500-700 people show up. I'll post when I hear something.
Did you ever get your cable and phone back? Was it effected by Wilma? I'm still waiting on both. sigh. I'm ready to go protest Bell south. And DirectTV.

Hi Kim,
Haven't seen you around for a bit. How are the meetings coming? HAve you made the woman's group yet?
I wonder what the inventer's of thw automobile would think today if they saw our raging freeways. Pretty mind-boggling I'll agree. One of my boys is pretty scared of it too. Beck
