BTW if it accounts for anyhting....he doesn't have a lady friend or a girlfriend.....no way.....absolutely not...that's a pack of BS....the more desperate you become the more power he gets....you're finally helping him.

thank you for responding to my thread on the Friends/Family message board....i took the liberty of copying and pasting the above excerpt from your response to me i wonder as how you can state with such conviction that his withdrawal
from me of late...now sexually as well...particularly on the weekends..
wouldn't indicate another female in his life...which he has repeatedly
denied.....i keep thinking it is heroin but until 2 weeks ago i might
see him one of the days of the weekend and aside from smoking a
ceaseless amount of pot he didn't really seem high on heroin but
then when he stepped outside to smoke his bedtime joint it took
such a long time that i thought he disappeared and he was right
off to bed and Monday morning he complained of really bad
constipation and he seems to be eating a lot of sweets which he
only did when he used....and i am so confused... if he is risking
smoking pot on probation than wouldn't a 30 year veteran heroin
addict be using dope as well?
if there was another woman then why would he still call on Friday maybe saying how he might drop by over the weekend but he never does of late and he always used to complain before how he had no money and no friends to hang out with over the weekends and suddenly he is busy..
i am so confused and in so much pain

Mary, I say that with conviction because who is going to start a relationship with a man in his 50's with all the history of heroin coming along with it?
Unless he's SUPERHERO I know these kinds of guys....well everyone is different of course, but a woman is the last thing on their minds.....you'll hear well if he got clean, and such he's going to be sexed crazed, .....I absolutely do not believe that......I'm not trying t be negative towards you as you know....you have a long relationship with him.....Mary we're addicts.....we play people like violin's you know that.....I can't say hwere he's been, but I would absolutely say he's not in another relationship.....no dang way....PLUS he needs a new gig to get ya wound up.....he wants it to be where ya think that of course...he knows what makes you tic...or tick....nah I say not.
Sweets......first sign everybody saw in me.....when I picked up,,,,,,sweets, and more sweets....I wasn't sure if he's on mathadone or not....that would do it too.
Ask people on here.....especially men.....they'd have a different perspective...how long does it take to smoke a joint.....my a*s would have spyed on him that's for sure....you're doing great....hoping your therapy helps loads.....it's all a mind f***, Mary.....that's how you two have come along.

I'm glad you didn't get the ride to the market from him.....keep that up....you ain't needing that from him.....I could honestly say now.....I'd walk first and use a cart.....instead of when I depended on somebody I could manipulate for money or drugs or whatever....your company is worth more than that Mar.

I think the only way he would be with another woman ,would be to use her. If she was helping him get high wittingly or un wittingly he would ride it to the end.

Ahhh Jack you said I what I was trying to say in a few words....eloquent.
And if he's using her.....then they're both getting high.....most likely right? This guy is in his 50's with like 30 years in, Jack.......smoking weed while on parole...tell me ya'd smoke weed and get a dirty urine, and pass on the dope...no way.....so when we're getting high....there's no sex....it's all about the dope.....dope first and foremost....he can easily be with dudes....doing the same thing......that's how it was when I was with a "partner"....Oh man how that is so bad....it's all about the dope.

He didn't actually state that there was another woman..in fact he denies it empathically...but i just assumed it as he recently declared the no more sex policy as it complicates the 'friendship'....what friendship?...he doesn't even pop over on the weekends anymore....i too have long suspicioned that he is doing heroin on the weekends...in fact i will go one further and state that he has been doing it off and on since he was sentenced and put on probation coming on 2 years served so far this May....hell he never gets surprise randoms and he sees his PO the first Thursday of every new month so he has it down pat.....he has been shooting heroin for 30 years..
Today the 28th of March is the anniversary of my youngest brother's death who took his life at the age of 29 due to his addiction....if he were alive today he would probably go after the ex bf and kick his a** for both the physical and verbal abuse i suffered from his hands....i also have 18 yrs and 11 months clean today..
i am nattering on here...but thank you for your input....
