Sub is made up of Buprenorphine and Naltraxone. So I guess you can say it is pretty much the same. Hope that helps. Naltraxone is an opiate blocker and the Bupe is the part that helps with the WD's

Subutex is Buprenorphine
Suboxone is Buprenorphine and Naloxone (Naloxone is similar to naltrexone but not the same)
Suboxone is deisgned for longer use and is taken under the tongue. Naloxone does not get absorbed under the tongue it is their to prevent anyone injecting the buprenorphine.
