Can You Still Have W/d Feelings After 4 Months?

I stopped taking methadone the first of Sept. I was down to 11mg. Anyway, the w/d weren't that bad. I mean, I felt like crap and all that, but I'm sure there are people who have suffered worse. I heard that you can still have occassional feelings of w/d for months. Has anyone experienced this? I woke up this morning at 5:00a.m. and had bad stomach cramps. This led to diarrhea and vomitting. I went back to bed at about 6:00a.m. Thankfully, my husband knew I was sick and got our daughter ready for school and took her to school. I just laid in bed and felt sweaty and panicky. I slept on and off. Finally, I looked at the clock and it was 12:05p.m. I never sleep that late. I just couldn't seem to get up. I felt like I was having a mild panic attack. About 2:00, I took a shower and am now feeling a little better. What's really funny, is I didn't even remember until about 1/2 hour ago that today is my birthday. The big 33.
Happy 33rd Birthday Michelle!

I don't have an answer to your question, but I did want to say that I hope you feel better, nothing worse than feeling bad on your Birthday.
Michelle

HAPPY BIRTHDAY...oh to be only 33 again...lolol

Honey could you have a touch of the flu???

It would be normal to think the worst...that it could be PAWS or w/d related..but flus are going around now big time...have you been arund a whole bunch of people? Anyone sick????

Im hoping its just the flu..too bad on your birthday though

the panic might have started from just THINKING it could be withdrawal...its probably not. so justthink you have the flu and be good to yourself..you'll feel better soon...

Big Birthday Hug,

Ali
Michelle,

The simple answer is yes. The brain is still going thru changes at this point in recovery. You prob won't see many physical s/s of WD though.
