Carol and everyone our son was born saturday morning 6:30 a.m, Amys water had broke and there was no going back. I don't have time to go into all of the details.needless to say there are a lot of problems and has a long road ahead of him. He is 2lbs 3 oz which believe it or not is exceptional for as early as he came into the world. Even that tiny he is beautiful. Amy is being kept for risk of infection either way she would not leave him regardless. We can not hold him yet which is killing my wife. Carol and Molly I meant to get back to you, I know you and Amy are close but there is so much to deal with at present. I told her you called Carol and about your e-mail Molly. She asked me to post the news. Her outlook is incredible I know she is consumeed with fear but her faith in our son and what he will overcome is something I need to join her in. I will post more when I can, hopefully Amy will be able to herself. Our oldest son and I are in the process of moving into my brothers, someone has to take care of him and my sister in law is going to help out there so I can be with Amy. She cares very much about you people here and thought you would want to know what happened, I can't remember everyones names but she has mentioned you before and how beneficial this site has been for her. I know she will be happy to know that you know. Please keep our tiny Jack and Amy in your prayers, again her will for him is something to behold, I am in awe of her as usual. I give you women so much credit. I know I could not have gone through what she did and is still. Take care, Mike.

Carol, its best not to call here, my nephew is coming in for the next few days to take care of the animals and I don't want to worry him anymore than I have to. Amy is all he has right now and he is consumed with how she and the baby are. I thought it best to keep him at a need to know basis, I'm sure you understand. I know Amy will call you when she can. Nothing personal, I just don't think he'd undersatnd.

Dear Mike, I have tears running down my face.Not because Im thinking bad things but Im crying because you & Amy brought into this world another beautiful child who will be raised with all the love that you & Amy have giving to Chance.I will pray but I know in my heart of hearts that little Jack will grow so strong under her love & care.I will not write to you guys.I want you both to be able to stay with each other & your little one.Mike just incase you need to know (which I know you already do)Amy loves you & your family so much & I know that love will carry all of you through.If you Mike need anything my email addy is in your address book.PLEASE PLEASE let your beautiful wife that all of us will pray & that I am always here for either of you.Congratuations Mike I know all will work out You & Amy were meant to have this beautiful baby.Love mj

I am so happy you let us know what was happening... I was very worried as many of us here were...Now I am crying and like Molly said they are tears because we are all happy little Jack is here..I know he is tiny but if he's anything like he's mommy he will be a fighter and he'll make it... We all love Amy so much, she's is such an awesome person and a great mother. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.. I know it's scary to have a pre-mature baby..My oldest was 4 lbs. However, at this day and age he has a lot of hope and your right Mike he was a little bigger than what I expected you to say when you said she delivered.. I am sure he is in good hands and he will continue to grow and get better.... Tell Amy that Rae said hello and to stay positive.. We all praying for your little boy Jack.. Thanks for keeping us posted. Please tell Amy that I have huge amounts of faith that he will be okay.
I have tears too..lol...all of the updates that you can give will be apprieciated. I will send out huge prayers...and just let her know that we are all rooting for her.

I had a feeling the baby was thinking the time was now. He has such good love bringing him through. He is strong to come into the world now. Prayers are going up all over for you all, for strength and perseverance. Things happen as they are meant to happen. Stay strong and calm for Little Jack.

I wish you guys all the best, when all the worrying is all over I know that things will be great! Believe it or not I was 5 lbs when I was born, you wouldnt believe that if you saw me now LOL!! I don't know what else to say, I will keep Jack and your whole family in my prayers!!

Mike, Thank you for taking the time to update us. Ofcourse, I am crying, too. I know that Amy will pass her strength and love onto Jack and he's going to be as great a fighter as her. He will make it, just like she did. I am just so sorry that you are all having to do it this way. Life should quit throwing you all these punches, damn it.

I understand about the calling. I know the situation and wouldn't want to upset Donnie for the world. No problem. Just give Amy my love. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
