Carol, nice webpage. I do very similar work and loved the rhodonite pendant. I don't sell them, I make as gifts for relaxation and I have a question that maybe you can help me with. I have been making double-strand charm bracelets with Swarovskis, balis, and SS charms, so they're a tad heavy...not too, too, but just a bit. One I made broke and now I'm gun-shy...what are you stringing your heavier pieces on, the bulkier bracelets and necklaces? Are you using coated wire or silk strings? And what are you crimping with? Are you soldering anything, or is it all pliers and crimpers? Any advice would be appreciated. I'll post you a photo of the next piece I make which will probably be in June the way things are popping around here lately.
Thanks~:~MomNMore

Thanks Mom, I used to just make it for myself and friends, but I loved doing it so much and had SO much that I had to start doing something to get rid of the excess. I truly just sell it now to be able to support my habit of bead buying. Everything I earn goes right back into more beads, and so on, and so on..
I use 49 strand coated wire......usually Beadalon. Also use 2x3 mm crimp beads. For very heavy pieces, I would use two crimps on each end, then cover them with crimp covers.
When I do charm braceles, I use silver link chain.
I can solder, but not good, so I try to use designs which do not call for it. I would LOVE to be able to do it nicely and discreetly, but it ain't happening.
I would love to see some of your work if you don't mind sharing. Email me.......laurenk834@aol.com.
