Here are the words of doo. She was asked about 12 times what she wants. She never indicated what she wanted but only felt the need to bash the board. The board bashes back or tries to make light of people coming on here just to stir up trouble. She comes here and starts slandering is all I could see. Who wouldn't take offence to this? I take 6 to 8 pills a day. I am a not a person who sits around and pops pills all day and lays up in the bed un able to function all day. I am active in my countryclub and social events. I eat well balanced meals and get 8 hours of sleep a night and i do not sleep all day. Do I have it in me to do a rehab? NO. I feel like I can kick this on my own as I am a strong willed person. I would like to use this forum as long as i feel that I am not dealing with alot of phony people who are using this for tea and sympathy. I don't believe in alot of the problems that people use to get drugs from doctors, ie fibro etc....
I am a strong person and with the support of my family and friends I can do this. I don't feel that I need to talk to a bunch of strangers who are only looking for other avenues to find other drugs. I appreciate the little bit of info that I have reveived here today however I think that I will sign off and do this on my own. Thanks all

Exactly what I was talking about DOO, You really struck a cord with the board how you put things. I don't know if that was your intention, but that's why people got upset with you. You truley were wrong with all of this you had said and really owe the board an apology. There really are great people on this board. You should try and start over. You will get a lot of great support here.

you can do it, lots of people have done it before you, just know there is hope. it isnt easy but it does get easier. the withdrawals dont last forever. then you will have some mental crap to work through, but the more clean time you can collect, the easier it gets when you work and practice your tools and safety nets. how long have you been on the percs? Well Brook, when you come in here and insult everybody you better expect to get some attacks..I apologized for treating her badly because I don't like to treat anybody bad. But for real, she came in here asking for it with that bad attitude. Not a good start on her part. But she could start over.

How about this, when someone attacks, instead of attacking back, try a different approach, ONE, why even waste time responding to that person, or TWO, how about.. a little compassion. Well, I hear your point, I guess in a perfect world it could happen. But....people on this board are human, and sometimes the thought to be nice doesn't come to mind when somebody is insulting you.
