My boyfriend was a heroin addict for years but has been taking methadone for the last two. he wants to be off of it by this summer. he has gone down to about 13mlg. he's starting to show symptoms of withdrawl. im very worried about him. has anyone suceffuly come off of methadone? how long were the withdrawls? what helps make them more tollerable? please, if anyone has any advise im all ears. thank you
He is doing well to get down this low.. keep supporting him. He can switch over to Subutex which may make things a little easier.
