Well Im sitting her on this Wonderful day and just thinking about next week. Im kind of scared but confident about getting off the sub. I will be off it next wed, I just pray it is not too bad wd. I havent had a vicodin in 24 days now. Im down to just a little under 1mg in these days. There is no turning back and im off them next wed no matter what.
Will I be ok guys. I wont be too sick i hope

Reddog, things are a little slow around here today but hang around. I personally have not done Sub but am seriously considering giving it a whirl. From what I have read about it, you shouldn't have too many problems coming off of it since you have only been taking it for a short time. Please keep us updated on your progress, you don't know how much you are helping me.

Hi Reddog, I have been on sub for almost 3 weeks. I'm not going to start tapering for at least 2 more months. Since you're down to so little, I think you should be okay. Please keep posting. I would like to know what I'm facing when it is time for me to come off the sub. How much vicodin were you taking?

How do i feel on the sub, ive tapering so dam much i feel uncomfortable I suppose. I went under a gram today. Kept shaving the pill more and more. But im def ok. Wed is the big day./ 27 days of sub and no more for me.

Awww Reddog, I guess I ran everyone off today. I've been on here just blabbing away all dang day. Well, at least I'm not crying now. If you go to........hang on.......I've got to go and look at what the name of the site is......Okay, if you go on PokerStars.com and look up JIMMIJAM, you will find me or hubby playing on there. We play on the free tables. Also look for the name of DEADLOC. JIMMIJAM icon is an eyeball and DEADLOC icon is a quad. It is fun but I go a little overboard sometimes. Keep up the good work my friend, I'm watching you closely. Hey, when you said that you don't feel great, what do you mean? Tell me how you are feeling compared to going c/t.

I have just some anxiety. Just a suttle weird feeling all around. But im scared to take the ativan. Its a benzo. I took it for these first 3 weeks, havent taken it in a few days. its addicting as well if take long term.

I understand, the ativan is a benzo, but you are going to be okay since you didn't take it for so long. What is so strange, I was given Ativan several years back and it wired me up so bad that I told the doctor not to ever give me any of that crap again. Talking about impulsive and compulsive.........Shew,,,,,,,, and I was given the stuff to take at bedtime to help me sleep. No good for me.
Try and not think too much about coming off of the Sub, I know that is easier said than done. You will be fine and I'm gonna keep on watching you. Keep me updated. Take a nice hot bath and see if it will help the tension or funky feeling and drink a nice warm glass of milk. Just rest and relax and breathe, nice and slow. Take Care.

Hey, I figured out that you were in San Diego this morning or maybe it was San Francisco. Anyhow, your word "hun'" was throwing me off and I thought that you might be from Britain. Hey Reddog, I promise you that you did not get addicted. Honey, trust me, you would certainly know by now if you haven't had any in weeks. Plus, it is my understanding and I could be wrong, that ativan is much cleaner to the system than most other Benzo's. I guess it leaves your system alot faster and doesn't have such a long half life, but I could be wrong on this. Noway are you addicted if you only took them for three weeks. Stop worrying yourself over this one. You are going to be fine.
Oopps, I saw where you said days since you had some. Na, you would still know it by now if you were addicted to them. You would be in some funky w/d and the Sub would not stop that. There is only one thing for Benzo addiction and w/d and it is not used very much at all.

I had to work this am, then came home and crashed, I still don't have the energy back in full swing, I get about 4 or 5 hours of energy then I am wiped out, I know it will only get better.

Well bering on the sub. Under 1mg still feels dirty to me Pam/. I am looking forward to being off of all Opiates. I tell you, I cant wait until the Holiays this year. I will feel great and very thankful.
Reddog, you have got one great attitude. Man, it is hard to find em like you these days. One day soon, we'll have to talk in depth because I would like to know what made you decide to get off of opiates. Great choice.
