Since Tina can't celebrate her clean time with us (she's forever clean...thank God) and yet is still one of us here, I thought it would be nice to congradulate her on her one year anniversary on the board.
So here's to you, Tina!! Nice to have you with us for the past year. You are a wonderful asset to this board. I'm proud of you for your lifetime of being clean. Thank you for all the insight you've brought us and for the friend you've become.

Morning Kat, Michelle, and Jean....
Thank you all for the beautiful words this morning......
I was gonna post about this and then wasn't sure if what I had to say would help anyone.......But it is one of those days, and one in which history is repeating itself and in a good way finally......
This week last year, this day a Thursday...Well he needed 10 percs just to get out of bed. The sickness so evident, and so ugly......All he had to do was hang until he met with his doctor. Oh god he was going out of his mind......More percs and he got there, spilled his guts....And the journey began.....
Forward till today. He has a late start so we are up together. He is pale, sweaty, and a bit freaked.....He is in wd again, but this time nowhere like the first and the many after.....And this time for a good reason. He is coming off of the sub. Took a drop Monday and true to sub today wd started.
He made sure before he left that he didn't have any acess to cash.... He commented on the date, and said it isn't one of celebration. If he only realize that to me him just being alive is a celebration. He said I am putting my foot down and keeping it there. He knows I don't want to hear any promises.....
Things look good, the hope is shining for him......
And me well I only want the best for him in any situation, and to be along to watch the good really take shape is a blessing.....
Never give of hope on yourselves...Never give up hope on your loved ones. Take each day one at a time...And know truely that nothing is set in stone and anything is possible........even sometimes miracles.....
