Crack And Heroin - What's That Called?

I know of someone who is suppose to be mixing crack and vinegar and shooting up - along with heroin. Is that something people do? What is that called? Why do something crazy like that?

Higher I ain;t got a clue what that's called. I've never seen that.

The reason someone would do it is because they're an addict. We don't do nothing sane.

crack and Heroin together is another version of a speedball.
Vinegar is used to disolve crack.

When I was using I used to mix cocaine and heroin in the same pin and we called it a snowball. I did try it with crack but it wasn't as good a hit as with the coke. And as for vinegar, it works in a similar way to citric acid (in the uk the heroin we get has to be be broken down with acid before injecting it) and can be used as an alternative (albeit a poor one) to citric or vit c, as can lemon juice. However, it's not advisable, as it can carry a type of fungus that then blooms in the blood stream. And come now, injecting vinegar does sound a bit insane, but I can testify that a junkie will do just about anything to get that hit, and not really care about how risky it is...
