Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is having a good morning. I wanted to wish everyone a "good day". I can't believe I made it through Day 1 (a little sick, but no cravings or desire for medication). I think I slept a couple hours last night. I was not sure when to take the Immodium, but I am sure that answer will come to me? lolol I am sweating/chills to death, and very nauseaus. But after coming off of the Oxycontin, so far, this is easier. I told my husband, that I will probably not feel like doing ANYTHING, until Day 4. Maybe a couple loads of laundry, and a quick pick-up. I put everything on-hold (cheerleading, boy scouts, debate ) for a couple days. Am I right? Does anyone remember if it was around Day 4, when they were up and doing a few things? I am taking one day at a time for now, and one hour , when necessary. Take care, Best Wishes
P.S. Does anyone know how long before Percocet leaves the body (most of it), I know with Oxycontin - 3 days. Thank for the information ;o)
Hi,
Good job. It will take about a month until you feel 100%. In a couple of more days you will feel alive again. Try to move around as much as you can. I know you want to shoot me for saying that, but stay as busy as you can. The more you sit and think about it, the longer the day last. I can remember, i fought not staying on the sofa as much as i could. I would run a little, cut the grass, so i would get so tired i could sleep. I also took abium for a week to help sleep. If you can find a way to get some sleep, you will feel so much better. i wish you the best of luck. hang in their.
runner.
ps, i'm not suguesting ambium, but i had to work and needed to sleep.

NIIIIIIIIICE!! Hang in, you're doing great. Start taking that Immodium anytime...you know, an ounce of prevention...lol M.
Wow you are doing really good. Day 2 is usually one of the worst. I would say day 2-4 are the most "physical"....Maybe you will be very lucky and won't have horrible withdrawals. And, you are even going to do some laundry....that's great. I am still having trouble doing laundry and it's been a month. I have a bad case of "no motivation"

I am so pleased things are going OK, keep it up and I am sure you will have a great Christmas.

Thanks (((Everyone))),
I really appreciate the words of encouragement, suggestions, and motivation ;o). I got a couple of things done, but so out of "wind". I think I am off to bed for awhile now. If we could all just get someone to run us a bath every 2 hours, I think alot of our symptoms would not be as bad ;o). Thanks again. Take care, Best Wishes
Neon,
I LOVE THE ANIMATION ;o)
Kat,
Please don't get discouraged, your energy will come back. Have you tried any vitamins? Are you taking any anti-depressants? I just wanted to give you some encouragment. Who cares about the laundry anyway. It's MUCH BETTER TO BE "CLEAN"!!!!!!!!
THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE

Bestwishes....I have tons of vitamins in the cupboard, but haven't taken them. It's not like I am tired...I just have NO motivation. I am on Lexapro but have never really felt any different taking it. I have gained weight and that is why I am depressed. I feel so gross. I used to take a pill and actually work out. Why the laundry is such a big issue with me is beyond me. My closet is a nightmare and the kids clothes have been in the laundry room for almost a week. ARUGHHHHHHHHH
Thanks Tride & LittleBeach,
I can really use the encouragement, I am just taking it, as it comes. But it's not fun....... grrrrrrrrrr..... I can do this!!!!
Kat,
I know what you mean. Not being motivated. I remember someone telling me to start writing a list. Start with 2 items a day, small things. You will see the accomplishments. I was OCD/with housework, everything had to be perfect. No More, thank goodness. I have 3 kids, 2 years apart, so I know what you mean. I have to do 2 loads of laundry a day to keep up. I know the energy will come back, and if it doesn't then I will have to hire a maid lololol. Don't be hard on yourself, you have alot going on and responsibilities with the family and kids. I understand about weight, I use to weigh almost 200lbs, now down to about 135lbs. Do I feel better, lolol, not really. I guess all of the guys looking at me lolo, or the health benefits. I was just as happy at 200lbs, as I am now. So please don't let that get you down. Love you, for you. I am thinking of getting pregnant hahahha, after 3 kids, and finally getting back down. See, how important it is, once you get there lolol. Take care, Best Wishes
