Day 9!!!

How is everybody. I am ok I guess. I'm 9 days clean so I am happy about that. It's the sleep issue that bothers me. I know in time it will all get better. The sleep is the worse part of the withdrawls. It seems to stick around forever. Trying to stay positve though.

travis day 9 is great, keep fighting with all your might,the sleep derivation doesnt last forever, i know its annoying and it drives you crazy. but you just keep hanging in there. try meletonin, sleepy time tea. benedryly, warm milk. getting some excersise and hot baths. just keep at it and dont dwell on the sleep thing. it will come. just know its part of recovery and it will pass. be patiant. also try meditation.

Terrianne is right.It will come back.Even lying down in bed is good.You are at least giving your body a rest.It will happen when you least expect it.
Way to go Travis! Your doing great! Hang in there, things will get better.

9 days...awesome...youll be at 2 weeks in just 4 more days!!!!!!!!!!!

Sleep will come..take advantage of your wakefulness while youhave it.....as Im always told lately, you can sleep long enough when your dead....

Get out of the bedroom when you are tossing and turning...you want to only assocaite the bedroom with sleep.

Thanks, I really appreciate everything. Your support means alot. I think I will try meletonin. I bought some amino acids the other day and the salesman said that alot of people have tried it and was pleased. Take care.

I'm so happy for you. Sleep is the last thing to come back. It took a while for me. I hate to tell you but a bout a month. I did sleep but not real good. Try to get as much exercise and activity during the day. The more tired you are the better. At first it's so hard to do anything but lie around but later we can get up and going. This helped me a lot. You could try come tylenol pm but I find it doesn't help too much until your body is finally ready to sleep again. Sleep was a real problem for me too. I remember posting a lot about it too. It did come and will. Your doing so well and it will get better. Do you work? That's were it can get hard.

I finally slept last night real well. Like 10 hours lol. So it came to a point for me when i stopped caring about the sleep, literally last mon-wed i went to work every day with little to no sleep. So im almost at 3 weeks sleep has come back. It started yesterday with a nap, i havent napped in months!!!!!!

I came home last night expecting another sleepless night but i fell asleep on the couch till 230 am, went to bed woke up at 10!
Way to Go Travis! Nine days is great. I know how irritating the sleep issue is, but it will come back. It just takes time. You'll get there.
