My husband and I are looking into the longterm rehab facility called Fresh Start for our daughter. Has anyone tried this particular method? They actually have a written guarantee. If there is a relapse within 6 months, the client can go back without any additional charges. They claim 76% success rate but I would like to hear from someone other than the on-line testimonials.
Insanity,
Most of these places sugar coat there success rates. I have never heard of this place but I would ask their rate on sobriety over 2-3 years.
What scares me is that your husband and you are looking into rehabs. When I did all the footwork for finding my daughter places and paying for them- it never worked. She would go a few times and then get kicked out. For me, I had to step back and let her do all the work. No matter how many times I was ready, she wasn't. She talked the talk but did not walk the walk.

I don't have familiarity with this facility either but the fact they take people back is a GREAT thing (at no cost) because like the previous poster said if this is not her idea it is highly unlikely it will work. But I know from experience...and watching a lot of interventions...that once people go to a rehab a seed is planted and they may not get it the first time....but many do end up going back for the help. I have a son who is an addict and he was never afforded the chance to go to rehab. I could never afford it....I wish I had for the very reasons I just stated....yes, it may not work for her right now...but I think she does have a better chance being in that environment, learning some things about herself and her addiction and having that SEED planted.
