I have been trying to taper myself off percocet and was doing really well. Went from 30mg a day down to 20mg a day. My wife gave me back the bottle and told me to do it myself because I asked her each day for a few more pills. I told her "what do you expect, I have an addiction". Man, it really makes me feel like a loser. I want to quit taking these pills but I don't think i can do it on my own. Any suggestions? I have about 30 pills left and WILL NOT get anymore even though it is very easy to do. The reason I asked today was because my back was really hurting me. That is the honest to go truth. The other two days it was just because I wanted a few extra pills to get high. I feel like I am never gonna kick this habit!!!! HELP!!!
My name is Christina...and i havent herd from you much and i dont think that i have ever talked to you, but you need to tell your wife that you realy need her help more than anything eles.
If she takes the pills for you again, then dont give her an excuse to give them back to you. She might think that you arnt willing to have her help you cause you always keep asking for more. I did the same thing to my fiancee to get more. And he finally told me one day that he was gonna let me die with the pills if i kept asking him and it realy hit home i guess!!!
He only gave me enough to help alittle through the w/d's and that was it. If it got me "high" then he would give me less the next time.
You need her help in getting through this. If your truly addicted to them, you cant doit alone. I tried to fool myself into beleaving that sooooo many times!!
Good luck friend, Keep trying to get FREE

Thank You. I just told her that I can't do this without her and she apologized for throwing the bottle of pills at me. I am determined to overcome this as this has effected my life for over 2 years. Thank you for the reply. I truly appreciate it.
GHF, that was my drug of choice too, loved the perks. Your not on that high of a dose, so depending on how long you've been taking then the withdrawals might not be that bad. Everyone's different so you have to find out for yourself. If your wife will keep helping you wean, and you do it pretty slow you should be OK.
Good luck
