i dont know what to do. my friend is 16 years old and he likes to do oxycotin. everytime something goes wrong he thinks drugs will make it better. i am so worried that one day ill go to his house and find him dead on the floor. will u tell me how to help him? i tried talking to him but he wont listen. your help will be gratefully appreciated. thank you.

YOU NEED TO WISE UP AND TELL HIS PARTENTS OR YOU WILL END UP FINDING HIM EXPIRED!!! BE A TRUE FRIEND AND TELL SOMEONE HE HAS A DRUG PROMBLEM.TELL SOMEONE BEFORE IT IS WAAY TO LATE.
Deadgurl, I wouldn't be that worried about your friend dying suddenly from oxy. It happens, but it is rare. What I would be worried about is that he is setting himself up for a lifelong addiction which can get progressively worse and lead to a totally unmanageable life. Abusing oxycontin should be looked at in the same light as someone shooting heroin-it's not that much different. In fact, I'm convinced that it is harder to get off of an oxy addiction than to get off of heroin. I'm sure your friend is having fun now and not too worried about the consequences of abusing opiates, but if you can find some stories from long-term users, you can see how it can ruin lives. 5 years of abusing oxy nearly put my life in the gutter. If you can educate your friend and persuade him that continuing to abuse oxys will lead him down the wrong road, you will have done your friend a huge favor. Unfortunately, most of us have to learn the hard way.
