Doug emailed me and told me to tell everyone goodbye for him. He's been banned and said it's just time for him to move on.
I don't agree with how things have been going down and i certainly don't agree with Doug's actions as of late, towards Lisa,. He knows that. and he knows i'm just speaking what I feel and I mean no disrespect, but how he's been (and others) have been is WRONG.
I don't go bad mouthing everyone that posts that i don't like. that is not how a RECOVERY BOARD works.

Maybe he can focus on his recovery for awhile and when he comes back (he always does) he'll play nice.

stace the one thing about is that no matter what when your friends around you are not gettign along you never bail out on the other person and take sides, you say what you have to say and you still stand by both sides and try to help in any way you can..................

I dont agree with him being disrespectful to lisa or anyone but there are always 2 sides to every story & thats all Im going to say.
Doug is a great guy & maybe with him gone OTHERS will focus on honesty & recovery also.All I can do is pray that this board doesnt turn into drama cenral yet again....

I feel those who are being so angry deserve our pity because its clear they are the ones who have issues with themselves but cannot yet face that

I'm glad that you agree that there are always two sides to every story and I have to question what a person would hope to gain from "telling stories" to another in order to hurt somone...instead of all this wishy washy crap, go to the source and find out the truth. That's what real friends do. And they do it in private and not involve a recovery board.

This is a recovery board not some HS for people to pretend they are one thing just to be liked & accepted.I know there are chat rooms for catty gossip but for me I was never that type & never will be.
I feel this board doesnt have to be 110% for recovery as most see with the GOOS but I do feel there should be respect whether you like someone or not.Is that fake?No its call common politeness which many need to learn...Dont you agree?

Oh I totally agree that respect for another human being is above all, the most important thing. Especially when you have called that person your friend. And as with most of my friends, if I or they do something to upset or piss eachother off, we talk it through. And because we are friends we don't believe other people's heresay or bring the digs and enuendo's to the board.
I don't know what happened but I did not like the mean spirited tone of his post...it can be so childish,,name calling and such.Sophomoric B.S. If everyone remembered how it feels to be treated in a hurtful and mean way...they wouldn't do it to others as often.People are all sensitive and universally in need of human love and compassion..sometimes(more often than not) the meanest people are the most unhappy...so I do try to be compassionate until that thin line is crossed, no one should take abuse. Even in the event of righteous anger, a certain protocol should be adhered to,,,no name calling or degradation. I am guilty of it myself and I usually feel worse for being as ugly as the other person..we all get pissed...anyway it doesn't solve anything. Lisa...don't let anyone aggravate you...your health comes first. And Doug...I am surprised at you..even if you feel justified it seemed out of character to hear you talk like that. But...what the hell do I know. Life is too short to fight. I learned the hard way about bringing personal issues to the board...I didn't like some of the responses and got hurt...lesson learned.
