Ok I'm forced to stop 80mg/day of methadone liquid from client to zero in 7 days due to insurance reasons. I have few 8mg auboxone steips to help with WD of methadone and I'm sick of everything now. Is it better to wait till 7th day and get full 80mg or reduce by 10mg/day until 7th day and than wait until SICK before inducing sub??
i didnt understand exactly how much of methadone you have ? i would rather reduce but if you can once you are on 20 mills go slowly by 5 then by 2 . if you can read Overfifthy post on tapering and how it was done painless i a sure it an help you
never had subs but i hear you need to wait 72 hours after taking opioid before taking subs including methadone
