Been on 360 mg methadone month at pain clinic. Dr got in trouble so he started reducing everybody asap! Mine went to 285mg month. His license suspended brought in a replacement dr. She there fit about methadone. Have never asked for early but told them this month I wasn't able to taper so quickly. She said no, she didn't like drug. I told her I was out that I wasn't doing good tapering but trying! I am out a full wee! Early! What does a person do? Been on sine 2001. Have not a 1left. Starting to go into withdrawal. Cindi...how much are you at now ? Did they jump you off ? Or are you still tapering ...your going to be in withdrawal through the taper somewhat...everytime you drop your going to feel it a bit...lots of info on here on what you can do for the wds...read through some of the posts...how much are they dropping you and how fast ? You used your weekly up already ? To make up for the drop ? That's not early wds...that's a jump....if they get really bad you might be able to go to hospital detox...or at least ask clinic for meds that can help....doxepin worked best with me...but everyone is different. ..
36 MG maybe not 360 MG...you'll be long dead on 360 even as opioid tolerant person ...no one would survive 360 MG dose unless you are a moose or elephant.
360 MG is almost 4 FOLD the amount of MLD for opioid naive person...therefore your story is at the best...'fishy'.

Just noticed this post is two months old..hopefully she got to hospital asap..imagine anyone would in that situation. That's f***ing scary. And correction...a friend of mine prescribed a little more then that a month for pain..4 bottles 10mg tabs
How could anyone who has done drugs call someone else who is trying to get advice a liar,???why would the person make up what dose they are on???? If you read the person wrote 360 mg per month not per day,,,,,I have seen people on a clinic be on a side of 320 Mg's a day. You have no rite to call them an elephant or moose. It's a shame to think another drug addict ,, would bash someone who is asking for help,,,and you name call. Im on 120mgs of liquid a day was 150 3yrs ago,,,,yes a day,,,Im not an elephant or moose. Unless your a dr,,which I fail to think you are,,becuz you would know that there is something called tolerance. And if the person is on this for pain,,,pain gets worse becuz it's tolerating the dose after a while. Just like an addict we use more and more to try and feel that high. So I think that no1 should try and tell someone who is asking for help ,,that they are not truthful in there dose. 360 is 3 days worth for me,,,,,,I guess they should put me in the zoo.
I hope the person who originally asked for help on there problem did get to a real dr that understands pain and doesn't feel like a god becuz they are able to prescribe pain meds. And if a doctor doesn't believe in something like what alot of people take now a days,,then maybe they should go back to the books or do a check on how many clinics are prescribing methadone and how much some humans take a day.
