HI, Dear how are you doing' i 'am not sure elisabeth if you posted it here it was so late last night and i came accross that post from the doctor who was an ex addict it was so true what that post read but i was half asleep needed tooth picks to hold my eyes open but that one sure caught my attention did they move it our am i just not seeing it here thanks . The post was excellent. It was removed because it was copied from another site. Not because of the content from what i understand. I think I know how to get a copy though.

HI there, dear wiversen how are you today and thanks for letting me know what happened to the post what i don't understand is why they removed it if i read correctly i thought she said she had got permission from the doc to post it here anyway i just thought it was so true and i think it would have been good if more of the members could have seen it i 'am not a person who argues or hurts peoples feelings our run anyones meteod down as Liz and will tell you if a member is working what ever method and it works for them GOD BLESS THEM weather it is C/T or tappering or AA/NA what ever it takes my dad was in AA when i was young he got sober and he had one relaps back then shortly after he joined but it never happened again he has not touched a drop since he was a member for about 26 years he keeps in touch with some of his old AA friends but like he said he did what worked for him to each his or her own way i tried C/T for my addiction pain meds and it was not the way for me either i ended up with a very bad seizer and my son called the ambulance and called his dad home from work and the ambulance thank god got there just in time and right in front of my son just befor my hubby got home my heart stoped i flat lined so the paramedics had to jump start my heart again and i 'am not speaking for others who have or are doing it C/T way i' am only saying it was not the best way for me so with the support from my hubby the dear members on this site and by my doc i was put on a tappering scuedual then wich my hubby handled the pain pill's bless his heart and i have been clean for a little over a year now' so anyway in my opinion i truly believe one way is not for all and how can it be we are not all the same like i said what ever works that's the key word anyway thanks for letting me ramble on here please forgive me for such a long post hang in there and take care. LOVE + HUGS LITTLE H.

I think the problem was somebody posted this somewhere else and she didn't have the persons permission to copy and paste their post here. Not exactly sure if that's what happened. I really don't know what happened. Maybe she used somebodys name without their permission in the post? I'm just going by what I read in the closed post. I didn't see what happened here.

sorry to answer this but noticed that you were referring to my post. Elisabeth was given permission by me to post it. I have reinstated it and contacted the other board not to remove.Hope this helps, and that you are feeling more awake to read . Always glad to share my experience, as well as hear others. Sobriety is the goal, regardless of how it was reached.
