As most of you know i had a little scare with a mammogram it all turned out alright though. Part of me was really afraid because this past 2-3 months ive been exhausted ,mornign noon and night. That kind of led me to believe something just might be wrong.Well, now that is ruled out,i have no idea?
I have never been like this.Just so tired almost every waking hour.Taking naps almost every day.Example, the other day i got hom from work at 1:30 in the afternoon, fell asleep slept til 8 pm,got up,did dinner(ordreed out)and was back in bed and asleep by 11 pm.This is gett quite regular.I get so tired i cant keep my eyes open, literally. Its scary.
I have been slowly lowering my sub,i wasnt taking much to begin with3-4 mg a day,im taking about 2 mg right now.Im wondering if this drop in sub is whats making me so very tired.Has anybody else here experienced this coming down on the sub?And if so,how long does it last.Im nt having any other symptoms, cravings for example, but i do get bouts of depression through out the day.
I would like to get done with the sub for good, but to be very honest,my dr desnt knwo how little im taking to begin with.I was afraid if he knew how little i would be taking,he would prescribe it for me.Now im probably going to find myself in a mess.Becasue when we (he and i ) decide its time to wean me off,im already down to 2 mgs?????????? I know, iknow i should have been honest from the beginning but...i knew i needed the syb but at the same time i knew there was no way in he** i was going to take the high amounts they prescribe.
So,aside from my confession, does anyone know if this exhaustion thing is normal while coming down on the sub?Even tonight my husband said hes starting to really worry about the amount of sleep ive been needing?
Thanks for any input.~KIM
Kim,
I cant offer any info on whether this is related to sub or not, but I know that when I quit the first and longest to last withdrawal symptom was exhaustion .I felt like an 80 year old lady! Have you had a regular checkup? Iron tested, etc.? Probably a good idea. But it very well could be that it is not enough sub and you are slowly stil detoxing. Im sure those with experience with sub will help you more. I can only suggest you get a good physical and then consider options with the sub.

Thanks Donna,i remember that feeling like an 80 year old lady, the time i was 3-4 months clean(CT)i was exhausted then too,but i think there was a ton of body aches and major depression.I have a little of the depression and some body aches in the morning.So...im thinking this is what it is,im detoxing off the sub slowly and that "could be" why im so tired.I hope so.Becasue this is tolerable, and when i get to 1 mg then less, maybbe i will be able to handle it? Isnt it amazing how much power we put in WD's. It is a scary thing to go through though.
Thanks so much for your response,i knew my question is a tricky one and hard to help with,so...i appreciate your taking the time to answer!~KIM

Donna you must of read my mind.I was thinking the same thing. Not enough Iron in Kimbers blood.Us women tend to be anemic(sp)which I know will make you feel just blahhh & tired.Kimber I dont know if its the Sub,but I want to ask...have you had any blood test done as of late?
Besides the fact you do do alot in the course of a day?Are you sleeping OK?
By the way Im so SO happy things worked out ok.I know Ive been MIA but Ive tried to peek in on here & I know you were so worried.Thank GOD it is ok.

Kimber until you do get bloodwork done I would like to suggest taking at least vitamins for women,As we ALL know our bodies are very different from men & the womens vitamins have alot of the B vits in them which can help with energy!!!
Love you & I really hope we talk more in the morning...

what donna says sounds right, i know how tired i have felt since starting sub, i could barely stay awake when i was induced! today was a FREE day for me, how did i spend it ???
on and off naps all day and i loved it! i needed it soooo bad. our bodies have gone thru alot, using, withdrawing, sub, tapering.....
but i would keep an eye on how your feeling and if it doesnt resolve after while a blood test for iron etc and a physical sounds like a plan to me. jewels/julie

molly and i were posting at the same time! hi molly! her suggestions sound right on the money too! i used to take a womens vitamin, but when i got a kidney stone i stopped cuz i was afraid the calcium in the vitamins would cause more stones.. well turns out i have more stones in the kidney and now the gall bladder but they are just lying there very innocently for now. but if they decide to act up, omg!!! worse pain than labor julie
