I have been trying to quit weed for the 15 years I have smoked. Since I got hooked inbetween smoking I get overcome with fatigue that so far I feel only weed can pick me up from. Nothing else works not even coffee. Does this happen to other people? If so what do you do to get threw it?
Everytime I try to quit I get so tired I end up smoking pot and then I'm not tired and I feel better. BUT, I can't get any clean days.
Does anybody have any ideas to get threw the fatigue? Then I know I can quit.
I want to quit.
Help? Thank you!

hi there tmt- that was a big problem for me and still is when i feel that a joint would perk me up. fatigue was one of my hurdles, and my biggest suggestion is give into the fatigue as much as you can. nap if you can, take vitimans, get more sleep..... this is a part of the addiction/withdrawl and the letting go.... and chances are you have been running like i did towards the end of the end...; get tired, smoke, get tired, smoke.....you just have to stop the cycle and rather than keep fighting it, i gave into it as much as i could and that helped. also make sure you have none in the house. the cupboard is bare situation is hard but gives no quick fix alternative.

hello
welcome to the board. i also had bad fatigue. i agree with jojo here. give in to your body and give it the rest that it needs. recovery is a healing process. you need to allow your body time to heal. after a few weeks you will begin to have more energy. also drink lots of water. and even though you feel tired, go for a walk. the exercise will increase your energy levels.nutrition is also very important. if you are hungry, you will feel tired. good luck to you.
