This is Brents wife Deb.We are going to a meeting tomorrow morn I always attend evey meeting with him. Im not sure if that is a good thing or not maybe he should go himself. That way he will say whatever he wants to say Im not sure if he will talk if Im there. Anyway I want to thank you for all your help you have givin Brent. Both him and I really appriciate it. I know you have really helped him ( he tells me) and you are also one of the first people he lookes for on the board. Deb, is there an Al-anon meeting you could attend while Brent goes to his meeting? Just a suggestion. I know that when my husband attended a meeting with me, I wasn't as comfortable as when I was alone.
Seeing as you have access to the pc also, may I suggest that you post to the Friends/Families forum? There are some wonderful loved ones of addicts that will be glad to share their stories, experience, strength and hope. I personally talk to many of them and have given them an insight into my addiction. I'm sure you will make some wonderful, supporting friends there, because I know by talking to them, that they are wonderful people who have been to heck and back.
I'm so glad that Brent posted today about what he was doing. So many people want to listen and help.

Hi Pam this is Brents wife Deb. Brent has taken about 125 mg of lib last night and an extra prozack. I have taken all of the meds so he can not get them. We attened a meeting this morn and Brent is feeling better he cant understand why he did what he did last night. I told him it is overwith so dont dwell on it and today is another day. Brent also got a sponser today which I think will be good for him. Thank you Deb
Hey Deb, thanks for getting back with me... Okay, I was worried about the amount he was ballooning but it doesn't sound like he took enough to OD on...Please keep the Benzo's away from him...If for some reason he gets ahold of them at least take some out of the bottle. That way, he can't OD on them...Never let him take over 300 mg of Librium in one day......NEVER....he will die if he does....
