Hey Ya'll!! Today marks my four month anniversary. July 4th was my first clean day. Is life rosy and sweet? No, but its a hell of a lot better than it was. It just takes time, I suppose. Withdrawals were tough, but they were nothing compared to the emotional wreckage that follows. I'm sorting it out piece by piece and trying to figure out the "whys" of my addiction. I have found that I was lying to myself, long before I took that first pill. Its hard to really dig deep and uncover the "not so pleasant" things, but its essential for my recovery as well as my life.
Here's to four more!

I wrote on a thread to Sharonn's that I wouldn't ask you to move here but will you pls? - haha - I think I have Sharon and Dottie thinking about it but I told them I couldn't expect you to move being the good Mother you are. We are or just as well empty nesters.
Your girls are beautiful. You are an energy madwoman - having all of this energy, I would still be tired from having twins.Yours are all 3 beautiful. Tell your husband he will have some "fun" teenage years with them being the dolls they are.
My oldest 2 were 19 months apart and I really did enjoy it all (well, most of it) but there was a lot of work - 2 in diapers for 6 months -
I put training pants on my oldest when he turned 2 years old and only put a diaper on him to sleep and if we went somewhere other than g'parents. He never had an accident, he was a Summer baby. My middle son, I waited 'til he was
2 1/2 'cause he was born in Jan (Iwas afraid if he had an accident, he would be cold) This was a lot harder to accomplish. By the 3rd one, I knew he would be potty trained by the time he started or graduated from school so I had thrown Dr. Spock away by then. Really relaxed by the 3rd one, did you do that, too?

LOL I am having Roast beef, INSTANT mashed potatos, and corn. I decided long ago, that real mashed potatos, only happen on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Idoahoan spuds are da bomb....LOL Just add water...

WOOO HOOOO!!!! 4 months passed by QUICK. I remember July 4th like it was yesterday ... actually - I take that back, I don't remember July 4th. I'm hours shy of a complete cold tukey quit - ONE week. I can make it to 4 months..

No need to be envious...I have plenty of energy when it comes to the stuff for the kids... its the other areas of my life that I need to get motivated for...LOL.. As far as the potty training goes.. I didn't read Dr. Spock, or any of those other parenting books... As soon as they could walk, I started taking them to the potty, and showing it to them. The twins took a little longer to "get it", but Shelby picked it right up. Sounds like you had a nice trip. Its gorgeous up there, this time of year. Pigeon Forge is only 25 minutes from my sister's house.
