A very good friend of mine has admitted that he is addicted to gambling (fruit machines mainly). I want to help him but I don't know how. He lives a long way from me so I can't watch his every move and stop him when he plays them but he has assured me that he really wants to stop. I used to play them a lot myself and nearly lost my house before I managed to stop but he says he does not have anything that important to lose. I don't know what to say to him to help him. Can someone please guide me in the right direction. I don't think I could get him to go to a support group so it is down to me!!!
Please help me as he is so important to me I don't want to see him hit rock bottom
