Hello to all its been a while but you are still in my thoughts and prayers.
Its Sunday morning overcast and hopefully we will get some rain, its badly needed here. I am back of down the south coast tomorrow. So I am going to try and take it easy today and enjoy all that is God given.
For some reason that song Johnny Cash sang Sunday Morning Coming Down just popped into my thoughts and the lines, When I woke up Sunday morning with noway to hold my head that didnt hurt and the beer I had for breakfast wasnt bad so I had one more for desert.
For quiet a while my mornings where all Sunday mornings. Coming to in a lot of strange places unable to blink an eye because of the pain in my head dry reaching trying to vomit up that last little bit of vile that was in my stomach.
And at the same time trying to get whatever plonk (wine) I had left in my cast down so I could hopefully function enough to get to a hotel or work and more of the same stuff that was killing me. Not being able to sneeze or cough in case I dirtied my pants again. Total insanity.
Am I grateful today you better believe it?
Through the grace of God and AA my life today is nothing like it was. I remember once being in a meeting and in a general way sharing what it was like, what happened, and what it is like how. Well thats one way the BB says we do it in. How it Works.
And this girl who was struggling with sobriety called me a FN liar. At the time I thought that was one of the best compliments I had been given. Because she couldnt see the person sitting opposite her as the person I had just described and what is possible not overnight but in time by following some very good directions mainly the 12 steps.
Well its my turn to cook breakfast so where of to MACS, The Golden Archers, easy does it. One quick one while talking about cooking.
I heard the BB is like a Cook Book if you just look at it you will stave.

I havent had much access to the net of late I have been spending a lot of time
At a small Coastal Town and never had a phone line until last week .So hopefully I will be able to drop in more often after today. All is well here I am lucky there are a couple of local AA meetings and some you have to travel to but that can be an experience as well.
